I had a few RuuviTag temperature & humidity sensors left in my drawer from the times when I was working on coffee software.
I always wanted to connect them to my Apple Home but there was no official support. There was an iOS app, but I was always lazy to open it just to check the temperature.
Since AI happened, I asked Claude to add HomeKit support to the firmware. One hour on my Raspberry Pi and the firmware was cooked.
It worked on a first try. Impressive!
